Canadian Innovation Conference 2022
Objective
In November 2022, Encore Canada partnered with the Professional Convention Management Association’s Canada East chapter for their annual Canadian Innovation Conference hosted at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre.
Revolving around the theme of The Power of Connection, this 3-day event hosted almost 300 event planners, venue managers, and service providers from across the country to learn and share innovative ideas to shape the future of the events industry.

Solution
- Plenary room with 10 x 30’ borderless screen between two vertical portrait screens with laser projection
- Custom stage designed by Scenic team and 2x custom themed LED screens in shape of logo/theme
- Custom content including on-screen graphics, video, augmented reality message and event brand developed by Creative Services MediaLab
- Secondary room (dining) with stage, 4 screens, and background cutouts on backdrop
- 5 Breakout rooms with screen and mics, as well as different coloured lights and drape in each room (reflecting logo colours)
- Use of Chime Live as the conference app for scheduling, photo sharing, networking, and AR integration with “Welcome Video” and interactive Treasure Hunt
- Explored meaningful uses of technology to engage audience with interactive string board
Outcome
