CUPE BC Virtual Annual Convention
CUPE BC managed to pivot their annual in-person convention, typically held in Vancouver, to the virtual event space in order to conduct union business.

Objective
To reproduce CUPE BC’s Annual in person convention virtually. To accommodate 700 attendees and to produce a solution to conduct union business such as voting and debating in a virtual fashion.
To ensure integrity and security during the voting process and to ensure all attendees can participate in the event in their choice of language and accessibility level. The goal of the event is to give both the presenter and the attendee the feeling of gathering in person regardless of where they are connecting from
