About Project
We partnered with the Professional Convention Management Association’s Canada East Chapter on their 5th Canadian Innovation Conference at the Quebec City Convention Centre. The event brings together more than 400 industry professionals each year. Consisting of a main plenary, breakout sessions, and unrivalled networking receptions, we collaborated with PCMA on the full event experience from show design to branding and technology to production, to deliver an event that would inspire attendees to Re-Imagine.

Client needs
A key objective was to deliver the theme Re-Imagine. Encore worked with PCMA to re-imagine all aspects of the event, from stage design to program, and breakout rooms. In addition to design, the team created custom content for the show, from logo development, to PowerPoint templates and video content.
We delivered
An environment that would inspire attendees to Re-Imagine the moment they entered the space, the team created an unconventional plenary atmosphere with the focal point being a centre circular stage with seating surrounding the stage.
To help ensure attendees always had a clear view of what was taking place, the team set screens around the room to immerse delegates in the program. In addition, our team placed two supplementary stages around the room where presenters would appear at different times throughout the event, keeping delegates on the look out for where the next speaker or sponsor would appear.
Transformative Value
Attendees were enthralled with the design of the show and spectacular production; it was the first time in 5 years that the Encore team received a standing ovation at the end of the event. Through expert design, production, and creative, Encore was able to help PCMA achieve their goals of re-imaging what a conference could look and feel like.
