As the vice president of information services, Mark creates target paths of innovation and service for the Encore Canada enterprise. He realizes that to provide exceptional service and unmatched value, he must be able to not just listen to—but really hear—clients and the needs and expectations they communicate. His experience with system integration and his solid understanding of the audiovisual business model have provided a solid foundation on which Encore Canada can grow.
David Morris currently stands as the Vice President, National Services on the Encore Canada team. David joined Encore in 2018, bringing with him over 30 years of experience across the industry including 16 years in senior management roles. Having been in positions at all levels of the AV and events industry throughout his career, David encourages the growth of his team as a leader and is often sought out by team members for his insight and guidance in the field. David brings his passion and specialty in business process and continuous improvement to the team and is focused on driving best practices to keep Encore as a frontrunner in the business.
Starting in the event marketing industry in 2011, Madeleine has a wide range of experience on both sides of the aisle. Joining Encore Canada in 2016, she brings a strong understanding of the industry and offers Encore Canada’s sales and marketing teams a fresh perspective. Madeleine’s collaborative attitude is key to finding creative solutions to challenges. And she enjoys that the Encore Canada’s enterprise promotes and shares the vision of “making it personal.”
Nozer Bhathena is the Vice President of Encore Canada’s Venue operations. He is responsible for P&L management and provides hands-on leadership, inspiration, and education of our core values and success tenants within his diverse workforce.
As vice president of Encore Canada eastern region, Bernard strives every day to deepen the company’s relationships with executives and senior levels at convention centers and venues, as well as large audiovisual accounts. He is focused on ensuring each client’s complete satisfaction, which he does by identifying and addressing potential areas of improvement and exploring new partnership and revenue opportunities.
When Serge joined Encore Canada in 2016, he brought more than 18 years of leadership experience. He’s using that expertise in his current leadership role to serve as the face of Encore Canada, bringing innovation and technology to each of his clients and on each event.
Working in various markets across Canada, Neil brings over 25 years of event production and management experience to Encore Canada. With a passion for technology that intersects with a natural ability for client service, he has contributed to a history of successful events for clients such as The Salvation Army International Congress, The Environmental Services Association of Alberta, The Pipeline Contractors Association of Canada, The Juno Awards and The Canadian Ophthalmological Society.
With nearly 30 years of industry experience, Chuck is skilled at working with clients from concept to close. Whether he is providing on-site technical direction, product evaluation, or national training and mentorship, clients are assured they are always receiving top-notch service. Creating memorable experiences is his area of expertise, and he uses the collaborative resources of the Encore enterprise to ensure an unforgettable client experience.
His areas of expertise are crew and project management, and he leads with a “get it done” attitude. Working closely with his Encore team, Chuck stops challenges before they become obstacles, ensuring a smooth-running event. Chuck continually updates his event staging and technology skills, making him an industry leader. He has provided his expertise on events like the International AIDS Conference, the Summit of the Americas, and the Commonwealth Summit.
Starting with Encore Canada in 2004, Jay brings an impressive resume to the table. From working on both sides of the aisle to being proficient in developing strategic sales plans to having a storied sales history, he is experienced in all facets of sales management and has a proven track record of success.
Shannon is a successful senior executive with extensive, progressive, and diverse experience from start-ups to multinationals across multiple industries. She is skilled in identifying and solving complex management, operational and financial issues for growth companies and companies in transition, with proven ability to drive key initiatives including strategic planning, budgeting, securing debt and equity financing, implementing infrastructure systems and M&A activities. Shannon has a keen sense for improving financial and operational analysis and reporting. She is high-energy, results-oriented and motivated by challenge with an excellent reputation as a people-oriented, collaborative and agile leader who consistently assembles high performing teams.
