With a retro-futuristic neon theme, the convention was titled ‘Defining the Future’ and brought together 4300 delegates in a fully virtual event using the Chime Platform. With the need for a full parliamentary debate-style convention, the client knew that the Chime Q&A feature was not going to work for their needs. Thanks to many brainstorming sessions with the broader digital team, a creative solution was born.
Chime Live and Ottawa Presentation Stage > A 40-foot LED wall was used as a backdrop for the live presenters using a polished neon image which transferred to the virtual platform well. > Multiple offices and boardrooms during the event as meeting spaces. > 25+ technicians
“Encore’s team provided the strategic advice and technical know-how we needed to mount a meeting that rocked the WOW-factor. The result was a stunning and intuitive virtual environment that was engaging, interactive, and relevant for delegates and exhibitors alike. The platform was slick, but not gimmicky. Debate moderation was simple and transparent. Voting and elections were seamless and secure. Encore’s delegate training and tech support helped us flatten the learning curve and solve problems in real time, so the delegate experience was smooth and memorable.” – Joel Duff, Political Assistant to the President Canadian Labour Congress
