Fifth International Marine Protected Areas Congress – IMPAC5​

The Fifth International Marine Protected Areas Congress (IMPAC5) conference is made up of marine conservation managers, practitioners, and decision-makers, that come together to exchange knowledge, experience, and best practices to strengthen the conservation of marine biodiversity and to protect the natural and cultural heritage of the ocean.

Last year, their event was taking place at the Vancouver Convention Centre, and Encore was there to ensure a seamless and professional hybrid event experience.

• Hybrid event using our chime event platform with robust back-end to support over 1200+ session descriptions and 1000+ speaker bios
• 6 x breakout rooms were streamed, and 4 x rooms leveraged zoom to bring in remote presenters
• Presentation Management (Content1) to manage the 1200+ presentations across 22 breakout rooms
• Simultaneous interpretation and bilingual streaming in 5 x breakout rooms
• Custom branding that expanded on the IMPAC5 logo provided by our MediaLab creative services
• Production support including 3 x producers, 4 x project managers and over 65 technicians
• 30ft tall x 125ft wide screen showing underwater content from anywhere in the expo
