We were definitely in good company…

Partnered with BC Event Management, FMAV provided the audio visual and technical production support services for the Toronto 2015 Pan Am and Para Pan Am Games. Working across more than 50 venues, the technical Tour de Force supported hundreds of events throughout the games, ensuring that reporting media, avid spectators and game officials could experience the technical dimensions of the games with vibrant clarity.

With tough competition, the profile and scale of the games, the challenges that needed to be overcome and the ability to work closely to a budget led the teams to victory in this year’s awards. Leading the FMAV project team, Craig Corbett was delighted to accept the award at the gala event, which served as the finale to the CSE Live: The conference for people who plan special events, produced by Canadian Special Events magazine.

Earlier in the week at the CSE Live! trade show, FMAV captivated booth visitors with a company first: Table-top projection mapping. Designed and programmed by our integrated creative services division, MediaLab, the animated content was mapped precisely against a typical event dining scene, complete with place setting and ‘centrepiece’, inspiring show-goers with new ways to engage event attendees through technology.

Congratulations to Keri Miller from e=mc2 events – winner of our booth draw for the “Planner’s Reprieve” prize, including a $150 spa gift card.
