Chartered Professionals in Human Resources BC & Yukon (CPHR BC & Yukon) Conference + Tradeshow 2018 – Vancouver, BC

FMAV partnered with Certified Human Resources Professional (CPHR) on their 55th annual HR Conference and Tradeshow. The event brings together more than 1,200 attendees each year from across British Columbia and Yukon. Consisting of a main plenary, concurrent breakout sessions, tradeshow, and executive forums.

FMAV collaborated with the client to utilize technical design thinking to deliver the ‘Impact Starts with You’ theme throughout all the event components, and a stakeholder experience that resulted in 20% increase in sponsorship, 10% increase in attendance and an attendee overall satisfaction rating for the conference rating a strong 91%. Through expert design consultation, solid reliable technology solutions and true alignment with the association’s objectives, the 2018 conference and tradeshow was the most successful to date.

Nicola Wealth Management’s Lead/IMPACT event brought together over 300 invite-only affluent business leaders to connect on ways to optimize their philanthropy and community endeavors. Held at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Vancouver, Lead/IMPACT is a one of a kind event that provides thought leadership; supporting passionate leaders in their pursuit of continuous growth, gaining insight and experience to help drive their businesses and communication.

Our modular stage set was configured and projection mapped to emphasize the slash motif and to fit well with the event space, in addition to reinforcing key messaging in an impactful way.
With the disruptive design mandate there is always a risk of it becoming uncomfortable for attendees however through the design, the team was able to create a relaxed experience that encourages meaningful conversations and fellowship, to achieve the event objectives.

We are pleased to receive the awards for Best Technical Support for an Event along with our friends, Production Canada at the  2019 Canadian Event Industry Awards! It was a great collaboration to produce the 2019 Rogers Upfronts at Massey Hall!

We partnered with Production Canada, and Rogers to create, build, and execute a never before seen environment to showcase the 2019 Media Upfronts. The request was to ‘push the limits’ with regards to the space, and experience of the attendees. Working closely with the client’s content team, we educated through collaboration in workflow as well as finding the pieces that fit well, and identifying the pieces that would not be ideal for the attendee experience.

O2E Brands Kick-Off 2018 – Vancouver, BC

We partnered with O2E Brands to provide audio visual solutions for their annual conference with 700 attendees from across the globe. The O2E Brands model stands for ordinary “2”exceptional. With brands like 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, WOW 1 DAY PAINTING, You Move Me, and Shack Shine, they are known for building the most innovative, customer-centric brands on the market. This being our 4th year, we worked closely with the client to unite, educate, and motivate diverse service areas and align them with O2E’s values and future direction through careful and intentional technical design.

The theme of the 2018 TAIC was ‘Ready to Engage’. The annual Tim Horton Children’s Foundation Black Tie Gala is about raising awareness to what the foundation does for the community and families it supports. What better way of creating awareness than creating an event that truly engages the audience. FMAV is proud to support the event and our partnership with Tim Hortons by providing our audiovisual and event technology services to help them reach their goals. Bringing innovation together with one of North America’s largest and growing restaurant brands, the reception featured an interactive virtual reality component that had attendees fully immersed in the brand messaging and event experience.
