The heart of AVW-TELAV lies within its people who, individually and collectively, make being a responsible corporate citizen virtually effortless for the company. Through virtue of dedicated engaged employees and industry partners, we were able to make a substantial impact on the hunger epidemic across the country with the ECOS Project in 2012.

We’re also proud of our men with a sense of humility who, once again, took part in Movember, a moustache-growing initiative in which we raised more than $30,000 in support of prostate cancer and male mental health. But, we didn’t stop there! Although AVW-TELAV’s employees are 85% male, as a unified group, we also raised substantial funds for various organizations in support of breast cancer research.

In 2012, the green thumbs in our Purchasing Department were able to secure a National Battery Recycling Agreement, after months of research met with several roadblocks, like provincial restrictions and limitations on the types of batteries accepted for recycling. Moreover, AVW-TELAV solidified its commitment to raising awareness of the audio visual and presentation solutions business in Canada.
