AVW-TELAV and Freeman partner on office lighting retrofit

AVW-TELAV Toronto and Freeman Electrical Toronto recently teamed up to turn the branch they share into a fully automated power-reducing, money-saving operation. Taking advantage of an energy-savings incentive and rebate program offered by the City of Mississauga (just west of Toronto, where the building is located), the two companies replaced all the lighting fixtures in the warehouse, offices, washrooms and common areas of the facility. They also installed motioned sensors, which trigger the lights on when movement is detected, and turn them off after three minutes of inactivity.
